Philly

This is the view from Deanna and Steve's terrace.
Imagine a concert here in this courtyard on a hot summers night.

The homes around here have a little humor and lots of charm about them.

Take this townhouse front made of mosaic tiles that glimmer in the afternoon sun.

I like the special art deco details on this door.

The parks use salvaged pieces of marble facades as benches.

Such a thoughtful application...

We of course visited Anthropologie. Note the branch Door pulls.

Their use of this historic building as the spot for their Philly Flagship Store is perfect.

The friendliness in Philadelphia can't be beat. Such nice people.

Apassionata

Apassionata is a theatrical horse show that tours all over Europe and this year has a US debut.

They have crazy horse acrobats that flip on horses that run at fast speeds.

Dry ice covered the stage and three beautiful Stallions appeared as violin music came to life.

Fancy costumes and girls riding side saddle.

See a preview of the show here

Thanks to my dear friend Steffi that took me to the Frankfurt performance.
